Membership

The Federation was created to link the various polish organisations and federations in Great Britain. Subsequently a change in the Statutes allowed for the introduction of Individual Membership. Members of the polish erhnic minority, permanently resident in the United Kingdom, members of their families and all persons supporting the aims of The Federation can become individual members of The Federation.

Annual subscription costs £10 (£5 dla senior citizens and students) and life membership costs £100.

Rights and obligations of individual members:

 

Individual members can:
• be represented in the Advisory Committee and General Meeting by delagates elected at the General Meeting of the Groups of Individual Members
• submit motions and suggestions to the governing powers of The Federation through the Committee of the Groups of Individual Members

 

Individual members should:
• observe and adhere to the Statutes and the decisions taken by the governing powers of The Federation,
• should comply with membership rules

 

Individual members have the right to elect the governing powers of The Federation. The Committee can cancel membership any person who does not comply with the Statutes, or who through their behaviour brings the good name of Poles into disrepute. A right of appeal against such a decision exists to the Advisory Committee.
